Environmental and pocket friendly
From wood-burners to biomass appliances - we really like solid-fuel systems, and they’re increasingly popular with our customers. They’re good for the environment and can help reduce your bills.
If you’d like to know what your solid-fuel options are (and what we’d recommend) give us a call. We like to think that we know a thing or two, and we’re HETAS qualified - so our work will comply with relevant building regulations and safety standards.
For example, we’re able to link a solid-fuel appliance into your central-heating system so both contribute energy to heat your hot water, your radiators and underfloor heating if you have it (or want it – we can do that too).
By using the solid-fuel energy first it makes full use of both boilers efficiently, which means less energy is wasted. In other words, it’s more cost-effective for you.
We can also install high-efficiency condensing biomass boilers that are fully-automatic. They act like an oil or gas boiler, with the fuel being fed to the burner via an auger connected to the adjacent pellet store/hopper. It’s perfect for heating a rural home.
As your local AGA Stove retailer we have several stoves on display in our showroom. Arrange an appointment to pop by and we can show you these systems in action, discuss your requirements and make a plan for you. If you have any technical questions or considerations such as hearth sizes, flue outlet sizes and ventilation requirements we’ll be happy to help with all that too.
Of course, as Rayburn specialists, we can also provide the popular solid-fuel models that efficiently and economically cook and heat your home. Just let us know if you’d like to know more about them.
